About the Journal

Aims and Scope

The Journal of Inquiry Based Activities (JIBA) is a refereed academic journal publishing articles that involve early childhood, elementary, middle, and secondary school level classroom activities designed and implemented by academicians or teachers. JIBA is published semi-annually in April and October.

The content of the journal includes research-based activities focused on preschool, primary, middle, and secondary school subjects (Special Education, Science Education, Mathematics Education, Social Studies Education, Art Education, Turkish Education, Religion Education, Foreign Languages Education, History, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, etc.). The activities may address subject matter standards or learning objectives that are based on students' needs and interests. The activity should be implemented in an educational institution (K-12) and the results should be reported in the article.

It is our hope that JIBA will contribute to inquiry-based education and will help students develop strong conceptual understanding of school subjects. We also hope to provide an online platform for educators to discuss educational issues and share resources.
